"You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."

You do not need a referral to see one of our psychologists. Though if you have a referral from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician, you are able to claim a medicare rebate. With this, you will be eligible for a rebate for 6-10 sessions per calendar year depending on your presenting concerns. If your doctor has referred you, we will provide feedback to them at the 1st, 6th and 10th sessions. After your 6th session, you will need to see your doctor for a further referral as rebates cannot be claimed for the 7th session without a re-referral.
In most circumstances, where eligible, you should be able to obtain a medicare rebate. We can do this for you via our practice management software which can often save you time doing it for yourself. You will not be able to obtain a medicare rebate for your child if they are not present during the session as this is against Medicare guidelines.
Yes, some private health insurance companies are able to provide a rebate for psychological services though it is always best to check with them before hand as it will also depend on your level of cover. We do not process private health rebates onsite, though we are able to print or email you a copy of your invoice.
Payment is required in full at the time of service. Credit cards are stored in our secure online system. We work on a contactless and paperless system thus all payments are done online.
During your initial contact, our wonderful reception staff will take some information so that we can send you our welcome email with links to our online intake form which needs to be completed before attending our practice. We work on a paperless system so all paperwork is to be completed online.
A Telehealth service is a psychological therapy service that is delivered via video conference where both a visual and audio link has been established between a patient and there treating psychologist.
No, though we see many self-managed and plan managed clients. Self-managed NDIS clients are treated as private paying clients and we will issue you an invoice and clients claim privately. As for plan managed NDIS clients, invoices are emailed to your plan manager for payment.
Yes we do, though if you need to reschedule your appointment you must provide us with 48 hours or two working days notice to avoid a late cancelation fee. If you miss an appointment without notice, a Do Not Attend fee will be charged to your account. Please pay this to ensure your continued care. We do understand that life can get in the way and we do take extenuating circumstances into consideration. Medicare rebates and health fund benefits do not apply to these fees. Help us to NEVER charge you a missed appointment fee. All we ask in return is to give us 48 hours notice and to let us know. You do receive an SMS 2 days prior to your appointment as well as 2 emails, so if you can't make it, message us via your confirmation text.
