This One Mental Flip Could Change Everything
I hope this message finds you in a pocket of calm today—whether you’re sipping something warm, stealing a moment to breathe, or simply remembering that you're doing your best (because you are 💛).
I wanted to share a little mindset gem we’ve been using with clients that has been surprisingly powerful. Simple. Effective. And backed by brain science.
It’s called the 3-5-7 Flip—and it’s a tool you can start using right now to shift the way you think and feel.
Here’s the idea:
Whenever a negative or self-defeating thought pops into your mind, instead of letting it spiral, flip it. Flip it once. Then again. Then again.
Flip it 3 times to start shifting your state.
Flip it 5 times if you want to challenge the story deeper.
Flip it 7 times if you’re ready to lay down new mental tracks altogether.
Each flip is like giving your brain a fresh GPS signal—guiding it away from the same old route and toward a new possibility.
🧠 Thought: “I always get this wrong.”
🔁 Flip 1: “I’ve made progress every time I’ve tried.”
🔁 Flip 2: “Every mistake is a stepping stone, not a dead end.”
🔁 Flip 3: “This is part of learning. I’m not supposed to have it all perfect.”
The more you flip, the more you teach your brain to expect something different—to believe something different.
Think of it like this: Your brain is a garden. The thoughts you water, grow. The more often you flip the script, the more you're planting new seeds. Over time, they bloom into self-trust, resilience, and peace.
So the next time that inner critic pipes up, take a breath and flip the thought like you mean it. Three. Five. Seven. You’ve got this.
And remember—you’re not alone on this journey.
